Meet Tricia

MS, RD, LDN—Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

An RDN with over 18 years of clinical experience, a master’s degree, and currently in pursuit of a doctorate degree in behavioral health, Tricia supports adolescents and adults with a range of conditions, including diabetes and pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, PCOS, IBS and other digestive concerns, hypertension, bariatric nutrition, and GLP-1–related nutrition support.

Clinical experience includes leading hospital systems in NYC and Boston.

Over time, it became clear that long-term change is often limited not by knowledge or willpower, but by emotional and behavioral patterns that influence eating behaviors.

This led to a highly specialized focus in obesity and weight management, eating disorders, binge eating disorder, bariatric nutrition, and trauma-informed care, using medical nutrition therapy combined with behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches.

The doctoral training will further integrate expertise in nutrition, behavior, and mental health.

My approach to nutrition counseling emphasizes behavior change over prescriptive diets.

Tricia also focuses on intuitive eating and body image support for individuals struggling with disordered eating behaviors or body image concerns. This work emphasizes building a more compassionate and sustainable relationship with food and the body, grounded in patience and self-compassion. Lasting change cannot come from shame or restriction.

Rather than traditional dieting approaches, the focus is on sustainable behavior change. Restrictive dieting is often associated with long-term difficulty and weight cycling.

Instead, clients are supported in building practical skills and realistic habits that support long-term well-being.

This approach helps move beyond the dieting mindset toward a more flexible, health-centered way of eating, reflected in her personal life as a certified spin instructor and yoga teacher.
